Once you acquire a new company, you must standardize your operations under one roof, one center of control. Data, technology, networks – all these should be reconciled to function effectively together.
But due diligence does not necessarily expose all the technology under the acquired company’s hood. It can also be difficult to compare and assess the relative strengths of your tools and theirs. Unfortunately, time is not on your side; every delay in consolidation can contribute to customer attrition no one can afford.
